Whisper doesnt appear in chat box

My character Alastair on apoline cant whisper correctly, whatever he whispers to someone or whisper to them, it doesnt show up in the chat box. I have tested it and people still recieve my chat. So something on my end prevents any whispering from showing in my chat box. Thanks so much for anything that you can do.

This is odd, usually this only happens when the recipient has a word in his name that is in the chat filter. Your name isn't. I'll look into it.

I also found out during a kq that i cant be partied either. I tried after the kq also and others said they got instant rejections, i never saw the invite. 'i dont know if i was clear with chat, normal and guild works, whisper doesnt work at all and cant test party chat to see if that is it.

You might have your invite settings turned off.

Press Esc to open up your options, and then go to Game Options. Check your Party/Whisper to see if they have been turned off.

You coulda have filtered you whisper on the chatbox. There's a little thing by the Normal tab, click it and make everything is filled in. O.o

None of those suggestions work, but thanks anyways. Whisper chat does not show up in any of my chat boxes, others receive whispers, but i cant see my whispers or theirs even if i am on the whisper tab of the chat box. People try to party invite me and they instantly get a rejected notice or i am already in a party notice, I never see the notice. I have checked game settings and nothing seemed wrong, i have changed them around to no avail also. I even did a settings reset from the gameplay menu and that didnt fix anything.

Those are the only two things that I can think of that would be the cause of your problem.

I'd suggest PM'ing Fiesta_help to see if they can't do anything for you.

Or you can try to reinstall. This would reset everything in one fell swoop.

someone from fiesta help said they would look on it above (you think i should try to contact again?), and i have tried reinstall and on different computers tried to see if it was on just this one. Thanks anyways. I am beginning to think it is not client side and could be a server side issue

i can send party requests and people accept, but whenever they send them they are auto dejected and i never get prompted

I realize this is an old thread but I am experiencing the same issue as Elliahante
