Hello :)

I am fairly new (level 30 Aco).

I've mainly been fighting alone, occasionally in a duo party.

I'm pretty confused about the way experience points work in parties, who gets what and how much...

If anyone can give me some clear information, i.e. benefits to both solo and party or duo fighting... or direct me to other posts that explain..

Thank you!

go check the game guides section. im not too sure on the technical but pt at low lvls is better and for you an aco is vital. I would recomend duoing. Then you only share exp with one person. its shared among everyone who is attacking the target, with the highest lvl getting the most % of the experience. Makes it hard for an aco who never attacks cause you get way less experience per kill if you dont attack.

i think in parties the exp points are divided by the number of people in the party.

i noticed that when i party with a Squire who is only slightly higher in level that me... if I help him with the kill and heal when needed, he gets a little more exp than me, be we are still more or less equal.

However, when I party with someone who is level 66 and I am level 30, i get next to nothing, percentage wise.

the party options are to either divide experience per level, or.. not. I'm still trying to figure out the difference.

Thanks for your replies.

It is devided according to your level as a percentage of the party level. i have explained this in another thread and made full calculations. it is a pity all these good threads get burried, maybe someone can dig that thread up.

yeah there it is, thanks for digging it up :)

I should write a guide with all these things in one location so they don't get lost. it seems like the same questions always come up.

thank you very much for the link, it was very helpful. I think a guide is a great idea, since this is a confusing topic.
