I'm a newbie to this specific game, but for any magical class you can't go wrong with int, if that's an option. I would know if it would let me log in. ::Mutter::

I would say that clerics don't need INT.* I think you should go 2:1 END:SPR or 2:1 SPR:END, whichever floats your boat.* INT won't help much, as it barely adds damage, and I'm not sure if it applies to healing spells.

Well, when I make a cleric it tends to be a healing build and in every MMORPG i've played that involved loads of int XD I guess this one is quite different.

SPR isn't something to important for a cleric down the line as they get at least 3 or 4 Divinity skills which boost their mana overall.

But don't hold me as concrete on this. It ultimately depends on what you want to do with yourself. Healing is important to a cleric at later levels, so having mana is a must. Also since they are decent soloers for many younger levels, having END is good too. It helps especially on aggros. Being able to stand there and take lots of damage without worry is nice in the middle of a KQ :P

Spr helps with skill points and sp points so most people agree that spr is a good thing. also not having to rest or use pots or stones as often is great when solo'ing and partying. End is a must for clerics, the ability to take huge amounts of damage is a great asset. my cleric is a 1:2:1 spread betwene str (doesnt really add much damage, one point of dam for every 10pts in str), end, and spr. it seems to be working well for me, i have plenty of sp points, can deal ok damage, and have good hp points.

SPR is not important to clerics. you have something called divienty. its a skill that give 40-50pt of power. also almost every cleric put 5 points into spell reduction for heal and bash. i'm lvl 26 and in groups and solo i don't have many power problems(unless i just spam lvl 4 heal and lvl 3 bash like a tard. if oyu want to do nothing more than heal then feel free to point points into to spr, that or if your going after the crit bonus.

the most important thing for clerics is END. you need hits. if your in a group, your probably fighting high level mobs and they will one shot you and your group will wipe if you get aggro fro healing. end is also really important for solo both for hits and chance to block.

str is ok. but relize that 1 pt of str only adds 1.2pt of damage. ie if you hit for 100damage and you got +10 str you will only hit for 112. thats not a huge differnce. your points arer better off in end.

How would a pure Healer benefit from higher Spr? Do mana stones/pots restore more, the higher your total mana is (i really should explore magic classes more...)?

End wins for major stat, hands down.. Just as weavers thouroughly explained, str adds very little damage and spirit increases crit rate by only 0.1% beyond 25 stat points..
But Spr, at least give 5sp (and .5Mdef), so nothing wrong with investing here..

So I think it's quite right to increase End like your life depended on it (AND IT DOES) =P

INT won't help much, as it barely adds damage, and I'm not sure if it applies to healing spells.
Intelligence adds nothing at all for a cleric. Not a single thing.

As already stated, the three good stats for clerics are strength, endurance, and spirit. Endurance is the major one that gives the most benefit - lots of HP, defense, and block rate. After that comes spirit - more SP is always great, and magical defense, and critical rate. At higher levels, spirit gives more damage than strength due to the criticals. Strength isn't that good - 1.1 damage per point. It's great at lower levels when you get little damage from equipment, but later becomes useless.

So INT are only for mage's dmg?

Correct. Unless at very very high levels some other classes have magic attacks. But that is currently unknown. For the moment, mages only, yes.

Eh, that sucks. I had assumed the magic attacks refered to the special attacks that use SP.

Heal has a preset amount of healing, so like basic heal will ALWAYS heal 110hp no matter what your stats are, right now I'm going with a 2:1 str:end build and it's working fine. However, I can see the point of adding more end...

With Spr you get .2% only up to 25 points then it drops to .1% so i would maybe do..

Spr = 25 points then the rest in to End IMO

END and SPR, yes. Though, the focus on needing END for taking hits also says something about the party you're with. I play a dedicated healer, and that's what I do. Heal. This can be applied to any game. While it's safe to do it on Fiesta since the other stats are virtually useless (until there are more advanced classes available that can use them), I wouldn't even be bothering with END if, for example, INT raised healing proc while SPR raised mana like in other games.

But that's not the case. END and SPR.

I played a game where a priest can be a tank himself, coz of HP, strength, and his heal skill, but in this game, strength hardly adds damage after i noticed adding 12 points into strength. Now i'm just gonna invest in END -.-

anyone try a 1str:3end:1spr build before in either OB or CB?

My build is 2end:1str. I am a level 27 cleric and have been told that I am an awesome cleric (not to brag hehe). I like to be able to solo and take on higher level mobs. I did add a few points on spr just to get the bit of extra sp points. Whatever the case, END is the most important. I am not going to add anymore into STR because I realize it isnt worth it enough (IMO) to put my points into it. I actually wish i hadn't in the first place.....
Anyways, good luck in the game!
