Sigh , Yet another game that will go down hill if Outspark dont stop them now. If their is gold spammers their is bots. Sad only a few days into open beta :(

Yes they need to figure out a credit spammer filter option. they also need a player ignore options badly.

The best thing you can do, is report the scammer. Hopefully outspark will ban the account.

Actually they mean goldfarmers... But now that the goldfarmer is alerted, he'll find different ways to advertise.

I have to LawL at people advertising gold farming and power leveling so early into the game consider I havent heard anything about anyone even reaching the 50s yet.

I might have seen a possible hacker last night...I'm not going to be saying yes he was or wasn't but I'll let you guys know and you guys can decide.


I was in echo cave farming for copper ores and out of nowhere this guy comes up to me and starts talking to me. Sorry, I don't remember his name, it was something along the lines of Typhroon, I can't remember. Anyways, he* asks me if I wanted to see his +9 weps. So i said okay, and he pulls out a lvl 30 +9 axe and a lvl 20 +9 axe. At first I was really shocked that he was able to get a lvl 30 +9. But then I noticed the armor that he had on. They were definitly all lvl 40+ gears. I asked him what level he was and he said he was level 41. And he then disappeared after some noob said, "Stop showing off and spamming or else I'm going to tell the GM's you're stealing my copper."


Anyhow, I got to thinking and it may just be me...but I don't think it is possible to get to level 41 in 3 days. EVEN if you play 24 hours without sleep because once you reach like lvl35 or so, you will about 100k of xp to level up. So, I think he might have a bot helping him with xp.

funny thing is i made a post about this last night and i think the GMs took it down. lol. maybe i flamed them too much about thier "idle-ness" on the removal of the gold spammer.





btw hopefully we dont need a sticky if the in game report button* works.

The GM's posted a notice when they logged in and got the tons of reports saying he was being banned.


However he'll just make a new account and do the same thing again and again. The site may look like it was made by a 2 year old but he's probably smart enough to know that the GM's DO need to go home and sleep.

and what problem about "GM have to sleep"? some GMs can work in day time, and some in night time. and that cover whole day.

unfortunately, outspark isn't making the same kind of money blizzard is, and therefore cannot possibly have a staff capable of keeping up with crap like this.

which is why i think there is a need for lesser GMs. They will be players who volunteer to help the staff. They get no pay, and they will have VERY limited powers.
Stuff like Temp Bans, mute, jailing. Also remove their ability to attack, and Trade. This way they can do nothing to abuse their GMs Type powers. All they can do is talk, and do their jobs. Maybe even help assist GMs with events. So that if the GMs need an extra set of eyes to watch for something, then they could come in and help.

If they get caught abusing these powers, then they can take the players powers away and find a new player willing to use these powers correctly. I would be willing to bet they could find 2 or 3 players for morning, afternoon, and Evening to fulfill these duties. If anything, if they do the job correctly, and after a year, maybe give them some credits in the store. Nothing major, but just a sorta Thank you type thing, for doing their job, and not abusing their powers.

There are plenty of free games out there that are not inundated with spam from gold sellers, it's normally just the lazy ones that do nothing about it that are.

I disagree with that idea magasgal.If people post the gold spammers ,hacks and bots in the forums and report them ingame their is no reason to have players with GM powers to ban.

We did post, and Report, but the GMs/Devs arent around 24/7. Which is why there is a need for these Player GMs. They will be the ones who with as i said Limited powers can step in and assist the GMs, so they can put more time in towards the game, and Events.
