Okay, so due to the lucky balls I managed to get TWO full stat reset cards.

Meaning, I can use them to experiment on my rogue. I don't know what to experiment with, though.

My Current stats are
POW 10+1
INT 1+0
AGI 66+6
MEN 1+0
WIS 7+0
STA 7+0

I want to go back to this build at the end, but in the meantime, does anyone have any idea as to what I can play around with? D:

(And I know I have a bit too much POW, but I like being able to carry more. And I know most of you think STA/WIS is useless but I like being able to do 8 AOE's before I have to use pots)

I suggest doing the pure AGI with enough POW to equip your shield.

This way, you can compare the difference to your preferences of too much POW and a little bit of WIS & STA.

...Just my two cents. x3

Either that or mess around with men. See what that does for us rouges. But either would be a good experiment^^

Yeah that was my first thought. My second thought was to do 50 POW and then 50 AGI, just to see--but you just told me it's already been proven, AND that would require me buying another reset card. >_>

Hmmm...maybe. I don't really know what that's supposed to do. >_> Does anyone actually HAVE stats in MEN? Any rogues, I mean?

you could try my rouges build, which is all pow, except the required agi!

Yo Taney I got a few points in MEN i think it works out nicely i seem to hit more criticals then any other rogue I know but maybe its just me..and also do we really need those req. stats for when we changed to neo if not take that crap off lol.

The two main reasons to add MEN are to increase the skill speed and hit rate for pvp, period. Sure the extra crits and dodges are nice, but those two aren't really the reasons for rogues/assassins to increase MEN. However, the problem is to really see the difference, you would need to increase your MEN to at least around 20. Which means that you're missing around 19 points in AGI, which is equivalent to around 12 ATK, which is equivalent to a +6 in weapon. I don't think that it's really worth the increase in skill speed if you're hitting for low damage. And for hitting in PvP, stack up on those Accuracy Souls.

Levonta! :D
So, basically MEN = Criticals. I dunno how many "H-YAA!"'s I can take in a row. >_>;

:D Yay. Okay. So...it's useless? Except for Critical and skill speed. Which seems pretty useless to me. [But that's just me]

I think I'm gonna go with Helen's idea. :D

Rofl Tenzen you broke that down pretty well and Taney highest I remember was like 6 in a row haha but experiment I just do a little of some stuff because I don't like to be a copy of everyone else I want my char the way i want him to be.I don't care about how much i can hit I just wanna have fun =P. But MEN does play a factor ive beaten rogues 5 lvls higher then me in which they had those pure AGI builds

Yes I'd say that for a Rogue, MEN is pretty useless at the moment (Who knows, they may add more benefits to adding MEN in the future). Full AGI with enough POW to wear shield is really the best way to go for Rogues. However as an Assassin, it's a little mix. You can hit weaker but faster, or stronger but slower... But after comparing the benefit, I prefer to hit stronger but slower. But, it's really your preference. "Hit" in this case refers to the skills instead of normal attacks.

Normal attacks are affected by AGI, not MEN. With 100+ AGI your attack speed would be at 0.5 or 0.6 secs without Enhance. With Enhance, you can hit 0.2 secs. 0.2 secs is the cap for attack speed (technically), but in reality, 0.5 secs is the cap for attack speed (Due to the attack animation). I really hope they will fix this somehow. And in my earlier post (and like what I stated), the "Hit" that I was talking about refers to skill attacks, not normal attacks.

as for MEN, there is still a animation cap on skill attacks. i have timed attacks with a friend(who has 21 MEN), and we skill spam at exactly the same speed.

Add 2 more and you will see a difference.. Men seems to work in multiples of 6. at 6 and 12 you will notice a skill speed increase and the crits and dodge will go up.

have you tested this? there are a lot of rumors about MEN.

could you please show a screenie of two people skill spaming a mob, one with significantly more MEN than the other.

I know i've previously compared skill spam speed with someone that had a lot of MEN, and there was absolutely no difference in speed (animation bug).

I don't have a screenie to show anything, however i did a stat reset back when i was lvl 60 something and went from 0 men to 12 men and in noticed a "slight" and i do mean "slight" difference in skill speed.

But outspark really needs to fix the .05 attack speed cap, I hope this will help men a bit.. I don't think i will be going beyond 12 as this would put a significant dent in my dammage ouput.

Edit: I do know that to see diff in skill speed you need about 12 pts into men. It takes too much to make a slight diff in skill speed. those pts are better suited else were

but honestly. havent any rogue tried to use a 20men and fully power build?
or doesnt rogues get dmg from power as warriors do?

Okay, I reset my stats a while ago, putting all my stats into AGI except for the POW stuff.
I hardly notice a difference in my MP/HP. so the points in WIS & STA were wasted, and are much better used in AGI. :D

going ful agi and enough pow to carry shield is nice up lv 101.(thats the lv when the lil monsters start to run from you in edine and chant) then where do you go phil? oh yea them mobs hit you for 90+ so do a stat reset again and add points to your sta so when they all hit at the same time you dont die. but then again thats my build. and who wants to be like me?
