Im pretty sure for gear, the max stat is half the Lvl. So, your max stat (end) in this case, is going to be 19 (Lv 38 / 2 ).

Lol, I didnt know what the max stat is, I just put those prices in case someone got something higher than what I expected :P
In any case, this thread can be closed. I found some pants =D
