i can only use hot keys 1,2,-,and = which r the ones that they alredy put stuff on, i cant put stuff on any other hot keyand its the same with the ctrl+1..., alt+1, and so on

i rotated it to make it vertical, and now everything works except for 5... so yea, i guess that was a useless comment

No it wasn't useless. I experienced teh same thing last night at the worst possible moment. I was in the middle of combat and low on mana, I clicked on the = to activate mana... nothing happened. I could do everything but "use" items. I ended up surviving the battle (barely) and relogging. After the relog, everything worked again.
That rotation comment helps me because if I experience this again, I'm going to try that next time first.
