hey everyone. i was just thinking 'everyone wants new AoE attacks, but why make new ones, when all you have to do is edit the old attacks." so here are some of my ideas.
Archers-:rolleyes:
let archers power shots blow through one enemy, and hit another one behind it. (this would be balanced, because monsters rarely are ever in a strait line, so it would be more of a chance AoE.)
Fighters-:D
have the spin attacks (such as fatal hit or Imobilize) do full AoE effect.
let power hit go through one enemy and hit another (just like the archer thing)
Mages-:confused:
Mages have a lot of AoE attacks, so I only was able to think of one thing for them; at level 50, give them an upgraded form of magic shot, which explodes on impact (magic shot with a magic burst when it hits)
Clerics-:o
Even though clerics don't have any AoE effects yet, i still was only able to think of one. for trip/bleed, let it have a bigger attack radius (equal to that of the fighters devastate but with no stun). trip/bleed does little damage anyway, so it wouldn't really do any harm anyway.

But I think you should change the fighter idea.
Immobolise is for archers!

So...your proposition is to give everyone else who already has AOE attacks more powerful AOE attacks, and just screw the clerics? Their piddly little attacks mean nothing?

thats not what i said at all. everyone but mages has only a few AoE effects, so i was just shooting for new ideas. at the time I just could not think of any effects that could be added to the clerics attacks, seeing as they only have 2 attack skills.
i think all the game creators have to do is increase the area of the attack skills for every class.
