Well, don't mislead them. DEX isn't for damage in this game for Archers. It would depend solely on your playing style. What most people do is get SPR to 25 because after that your critical rate goes up by 0.1% whereas before that it goes up by 0.2%. Then if you want steady damage you can up STR and then either go with END which gives you HP and increased defense. Or you can go DEX and be able to hit more (though Archers have great accuracy regardless) and evade attacks instead.

It also depends on the weapon you go for. If you go for Crossbow which gives you higher dmg and critical rate... you may want to add some DEX to make up for the lower accuracy.

that's complete utter bs, my archer Seripa is only lvl 15 and she does waaaaaaay more dmg than my Fighter who's the same level, she even kills the enemies b4 they reach her (boars, ratman, etc.)

I agree, DEX is worth it. I've put in just like 3 points into it so far... and although yellow monsters still hit me once in awhile. The green ones already miss me even though they do only get like one chance to hit me before they're dead. :D

yeah, but alot of the higher lvls say that once you get up there, it doesnt seem to help on dodging much, and against bosses, its useless

i believe a good build is a spr:dex build i personaly think, i dont got too many points in dex yet but like the guy before me said the green monsters miss. i made mistake of putting 10 points in str but dont help too much ecept for +12 dmg, but a good way to make a archer in my prediction is high crit, with alot of sp for skills, and evasion from dex. (spr:dex) (back a good amount for the guy who said they miss with only 3 points in dex :) )

For archers. Up to at least level 20ish they get enough dex. The dex you get plus using an aim(AKA power scroll) is enough to guarantee you don't miss. As for evasion, I really haven't noticed a difference. My cleric with no extra dex gets hit just as often as my archer with higher dex.

You can always use dex rings to make up for it as well.

I just started playing this game two days ago and I'm already to level 13 (and that's with me only playing a few hours a day).

I've read a lot of posts saying that DEX isn't worth it; is this just for the higher levels? It seems that it helps a bit now, although due to everyone having the same exact complaints(and seeing the evidence), I started putting my points towards STR.

I solo, so having STR is nice, but it doesn't help my defense. So in essense, what is DEX actually doing in this game? I was still getting hit (as often as I do now that I'm putting points into STR) even when I was putting points into DEX (So I was assuming that DEX was giving me better accuracy?). With my STR being what it is, while it's outstanding to be able to kill my enemies faster, but if they do get to me(which they will) it kinda sucks after a while. Of course, using scrolls help, and I put my skills towards making pots so it does help.

Hopefully when the game comes out of OB it'll have more improvements.

how fast can an archer shoot does they all shoot the same speed and never change? or is there a stat that makes u shoot faster

I dont think dex modifies attack speed, and my archer shootsabout 1 arrow every 2-4 seconds
