Hi there!

Um, okie. So due to the latest patch, for some reason, it spikes up my CPU usage super high, and it shouldn't because I'm running on a dual core processor and I have 3GB of ram. I heard that X-trap and dual processors don't get along that well? So I'm wondering if there is any way to fix this. --By the way, this has just started happening. It seems that it's dumping all the information onto one processor instead of using both of them. When I tried to set the affinity to both, I got an X-trap error.
Is there any way this can be solved?

Thank you very much for your time. I hope that I get to play again soon. =(

Okay, now I can set the cpu's so their both working at the same time but the CPU Usage AND physical memory still goes up dramatically to about 70-80% and then the game shuts down and so do all my programs running at that time.

>___o; I can't get the error to pop up again.

I'm having the same problem as the person who started this thread. I also have a dual core processor, and 3gb of RAM... I've NEVER had problems like this before with Fiesta... matter of fact... I could run iTunes, Firefox (with multiple tabs), AND Fiesta... and still only b using 70% of my RAM and even less of my CPU power... Please please PLEASE fix this....
I've restored my computer 3 times, and also recovered the whole system TWICE... yet... the problem STILL occurs. I know it's not my computer...

Please help us :)

It obviously is your computer if your BOTH having trouble and you BOTH have a Dual core Processor, and you BOTH have 3GB of RAM, When I have 1 CPU and 512MB of RAM and I can play Fiesta fine.

Please post all of your system specs including OS, Computer model, etc.

it's obviously a compatibility issue since fiesta worked PERFECTLY FINE before the latest patch, I also run on a 32-bit Vista OS...

I personally think.. it's a compatibility issue orginating FROM THE GAME, either with the structure of the comp (which i highly doubt b/c the only difference is power, not the processes running on the comp) or conflicting processes between the game's programming, and possibly a user or system process on Vista...

one thing I have done that has somehow made Fiesta run decently...

when u turn on ur comp (laptop for me)... you open the task manager, and close ALL PROCESS EXCEPT FOR: explorer.exe & tskmngr.exe (Windows Explorer, and the Task Manager)... and then Fiesta runs fine... again...

it's a PROGRAMMING ERROR!!!
