Hello, I just started playing Secret of the Solstice last night and I'm really impressed with it :p.

How ever I'm not sure which class and build is best suited for me and was wondering if I could get some input from some experienced players.

I've have always been one to be the tank of the party with these sort of games. I'm aiming for a class that deals the highest damage to others and is often up front preferably a melee class, suggestions?

If you like being the tanker then Squire is perfect for you. I can help with your build if thats your class of choice. Personally I think you should make one of each and try them all out. That way you can decide early on which one is best for you. Good luck

Turn squire if you wanna be brown >.< lvl up fast and they hit stronger than neos. So thats maybe a class for you.

Make a neo if you like more skills and cool outfits (my oppinion). After you reach 45lvl you can become a scout, they probably hit stronger than all classes.

Since this thread already exists, might as well put in some questions...

I like scout/archer, because I like ranged attack and nothing says range then a bow and an arrow.....
However, my inner self is saying I should go for rouge because of its awesomeness!!!

So help me out here please, which one should I choose?
I can't make two characters because with the way I play i can't keep two characters evenly leveled.

Currently my neo is level 37 and I can only go online on weekends.

If you hadnt messed your stats and you say rogues are awsome i think you should go for it. Whenever you get bored with your neo you'll still be able to change scout.

kaixx: well, based on what you said, squire is definitely the way to go for you. upfront melee...hard hitting, tank...all goes with squire. ^_^

acid: well if you like ranged go scout...xD. maybe try staying neo for a while and if u cant stand it and want to go ranged, just change. ^^

not ALL squires hit hard and lvl up fast u know. i've seen squires with horror mask who i hit harder than. there are also quite a few squires who have weaker defenses.

a neo can be watever u want it to be (except healer XD) if u want to go range change to scout if u want to tank stay neo (it will cost u some in-game $$ though) besides neos hav TWO main defenses dodge AND defense >:3

then again squires hav high hp and defense but high hp will not save u wen u get mobbed xP

i dont kno how many times dodge has saved my life xD

Thank you for your replies everyone :)

I have decided to go squire. Now all I'm trying to do is decide on the build. After doing some research I have come up with this conclusion. No INT ever, go full power till lvl 50 then start on a build, I'm thinking STR and STA 2:1 or... Would AGI fit the bill better? Or did I possibly read it wrong?

And just for a reference could someone please tell me the LVL cap of the game?

as of right now im pretty sure the lvl cap is 180. x_x
highest person/people i know are lvl 12x. so i guess no on rlly knows, but the gear stops at 180.

as for a build...i'd like to help but..imma scout. x_x i havent played my squire since lvl 36. x___x well besides my attempt to farm leather but that failed miserably.
