Well, I might be leaving soon to start my study abroad in England (yay I finally get to meet my UK friends!) but I've got some concerns. I never in one million years thought the European IP block would have anything to do with me, but I suddenly realized something. If I were to move to Cambridge, United Kingdom in the fall, would I (a North American account holder) be able to use my account abroad from England because, wouldn't technically my new IP be blocked? Or would I have to make a new account on a new server just for while I'm in Europe? I'm pretty worried about this. I'm also worried I won't be able to pay for my plane fair overseas because of the friggin' cash shop...

So far they only block new accounts and not the ones that were already existing. So you won't have any problem, unless this changes.

Ok so it's accounts they are blocking, not IPs?

Yes, current accounts are allowed to stay.

They are not directly blocking accounts either.

It's a check like:
"If registration date is newer than 14th July 2008 AND European IP THEN Block"

Okay thanks Ryokosha, that clears things up a bit. I'm so relieved I'll +rep you. xD

Actually, if you make a new account in the UK you wont be able to play. If you use your same account while in the UK, you will be able to play :D

Yeah, but I wouldn't have to make a new account if my old one still works, so I think I'm safe. :O

This is correct. Outspark looks at your account creation date. If it was created w/ Outspark prior to 07/14/08 then you're fine. It's Euro IPs with registration dates after 07/14/08 which will be blocked.

No! Don't do it! Stay away from the marmite. You'll die of disgust.
Go and enjoy some fish and chips. Best thing ever. Innit!
