I've been thinking about turning my aco into a templar because I perfer offense fighting. But I've been wondering - which class really does more damage in the long run, the disc or the cleric? I heard that clerics actually do more damage...or is that only in the beginning and quickly passed? And if you go disc, can you still heal other people?

uh? im almost sure a disc does more dmg but i think its pretty hard for them starting out you might wanna stay aco till 51 best idea ever its hard soloing at 45 as a disc wait till atleast 51 id say to go disc and start fighting yes you can heal other people not as reliable but still pretty good (Assist Heal)

Oh ok. I got one more question though. Which levels up faster? Aco or disc?

Aco from levels 45-66 level faster than disciples level 45-66. Even though Discs can solo, Acos get into parties so much (and parties being amazing exp) that they get exp faster. Some people stay aco until level 66, then change to disciple because soloing as a disciple is hard, but when you get your AoE you can solo AoE which is good exp.

But... If you're going to change at 66 and start to aoe right away you won't have any experience as an disc... I mean with the skills and such.
I been soloing for about 3 lvls and I still haven't got used to Time Shield <.< and still mess up sometimes @.@(maybe it's just me :x~)

Assist heal= A close combat-unit's best friend. Heals over time and rarely goes to waste if you know what you do in comparison with Minor Heal.(Note, AH is not used as a desperation like MH can be used as.)

Great Sphere is pretty much like Major Heal, but with HoT-effect.(Heal over time) Can be stacked with Assist Heal.

Changing as a Disciple at level 66 in my opinion is like those rushed Acos never having to learn the basics of the class like most other. Changing at lv 51+ May be more useful, but at AoE-level you miss out the crashcourse the first time. ^_^'

Thus, less failed AoE-running.(Can still recall the early Disciples around my change failing to use the class properly)

Can't recall the raw DPS between Cleric/Priestess(? Not sure here at all) and Templar, but you won't be handling the same amount of monsters.

Time shield is a funny spell, and when i first heard of it and saw Bourica use it on monsters, i thought it's like a Shield Crash: Disciple version. I was so wrong x.x
It's more like a Knight's hard blow, and recalling with the experience with Xanthe in Loren duoing proved it to allow access to areas where Hard hitters won't pose as much of a threat. (Other than the long cooldown time 24sec x.x)
The fact it also damages also makes it even funnier as Shield Crash doesn't dmg.

My Squire begs to differ. Shield Crash ONLY stuns, it's not like Time Shield or Blind Side who does some damage along with stunning.(And escape for TS if you choose)
