what is the stat points for mages and what does SPR do. and is pure INT the best road for mages

Spr increases sp by 5 and mdef by 0.5 and 0.2% increase in critical rate until 25 points then 0.1% increase till 6X points then 0.05% from then on, pure int is good but int/spr is better in alot of peoples opinions.
