Copper Lump?

i obtained copper lumps and im not really sure what their purpose is.....can someone tell me?

I believe they're most for reselling but I think a few quests may require them, I just haven't found much use for them yet either.

I could be wrong but I believe you can sell them to the merchant and get 100 copper. So if you want to buy a skill or something and you need 500 copper but you only have 200, you can sell 3 copper lumps to get 500 copper. Follow?
