Hey guys this is ure friend holy jarred.. i'm sure ure all know me as the guy that shouts a lot about the prices for xens.

But not only the prices for xens went up but the prices of everything else as well, and it's really getting out of control. They say supply and demand is the cause of the prices going crazy but i say Greed, and quite frankly i don't want to throw away 1mil on a stone that might not work.So me and IJat thought of a solution to the overwhelming prices of xens, but we need all of ure guys to support us.

If we don't act now the prices of xen is going to be 2mil soon. and i don't want that, it's hard enough to keep kron to begin w/.

the idea was to convince GM to take a active role in the xen community. Either by making a Xen npc or market or by setting a set price for xen somehow. Or to just have a Marketing directer or limit on prices of certain items. But i need all of ure support.

so if u want a Change in the economy plz reply in support if our cause.

i think the price is just fine. Theres already enough uber armor out there to choke a Shakiro.

Just cause you started out when the xens were cheap(maybe) and now they are back to a regular price doesnt mean somethings wrong.

1. Rarest and most sought after item in game
2. duh of course its gonna be expensive.

i dont want to sound insulting, but all you guys crying about xen stones need to just get over it. They were at a million b4 the price droppped, IDK why the price dropped to 350k at that one point but before that they were a 800,000-1,000,000krons
NObody cried about back then. WAAAAAH i cant find an IN-GAME ITEM, WAAAAH ITS EXPENSIVE, WAAAAH WAAAAAH WAAAAAAH!
Also its not like krons are hard to make so why does a puny million make you guys whine like this? Can you just stop, and go find something REAL to cry about? Like exp, or cash pots, or drop rates?

As far as I'm concerned this dead horse has been beaten enough already. Why not just let it die?

I say it's just the kron pool out there growing every day. The value of each kron is going down. That's all it is. It's like a country printing more money... it's not that complicated. Even if there were two billion more Xen Stones out there for sale, the price is going to be the same (excluding noobs that are unaware of the stone's potential value).

Starting to sound like a broken record by now, but there's the explanation. Again. Anyone wanna link to any of sijar's five hundred posts on the issue?

Ok guys let me quote what i typed in another Forum...if u think the prices is fine that's ok. but i wonder how u will fell if it continue to go up. then mayb when it reaches a completely outrageous price. u will notice just how serious it is when no one is able to afford. not everyone should b able to play the Marketing position.

u know...I'm so tired of this Supply and Demand B.S everyone is one. That don't have anything to do w/ the prices, and this is y. Xens will never stop dropping unleash the ppl in control of this game want it to. The problem is greed. ppl know the demand for xens is high, and drops has always been low. so ppl stash xens, instead of using them. keeping them from Continue it's Cycle around the maps and selling it when they see that ppl really wants it. Yes...xens r in high demand but it's nothing like oil because oil can run out. But xens as u clearly can see can never run out. on top of that u have ppl that store 100+ xens on the basics and vent them all for 1mil each.

This is not a real life economy. there isnt any reason to not have a set price.

And plz don't feed me this more ppl is playing and want xens B.S either. Cause the number of supplies or drops is depended on the numbers of players. The only thing we really need for the increase of players is more space not supplies.

i ask u to study ure economy in both real life and online game before u start talking about supply and demand.

what u learn about in rl Economy is completely diff from a game


if u ask me to eliminate the problem u should have npc for everything instead of a bunch of ppl that think they understand the economy to sell there stuff. but ppl wouldn't like that

Define regular.

There is no such thing as "regular price" of Xen stones. Even 600k is very
unreasonable for Xen stone's nature. Don't say it as something reasonable
when you do not understand.

Linking the low rarity of Xen stones and design flaw of the game (Xenning being
the only way to make armors better) and the result will be a catastrophe.

Simple when theres people hwo can afford to spend 1.5m (yeah even that high price) i dont see anything wrong to sell on that price. If you want to sell me Xen for 300k fine pm me but so far i havent seen one selling on that price. And if someone has more Xens 20/30+(or even more) they have been or clever or lucky or working hard to find them and no matter what they have the right to choose on what price to sell them. There wont be NPC selling Xens and the set price for now is 900k-1m like it or no.

u say that things will not change, if ure one of the ones that do sell at this unreasonable price, and holding up the supply of xens i understand ure post. u have every right to say what u said. But i will not stop into something change about this. It may not happen the way i want it to happen, but i promise u this. U will remember what i said about these prices when s**** really get crazy.

Already more and more ppl is getting tried of the greed of other players. u will hear this more and more and something is going to happen. Good Or Bad. Something is gonna change.

this is what ppl do in rl when they feel like they r being treated or priced unfairly. The consumers control the market more then what u think they do. watch wat happens. u will see the results of a corrupt economy in a game version.

I wish that too. But i hope CLs will do their work and clean these threads. I dont care about the frustrated people im sick of players who seems to come in forums only to complain. This is called spam.

this thread is making me laugh. Prices wont go up that high. Nobody will buy em.

Theres enough of us that have been here long time, know each other pretty well, and will continue to trade amongst ourselves. That market is going to be fine and THATS why they wont get totally out of control. I mean maybe they will for YOU guys, but the rest of us will prolly be fine, cause we have a pretty good understanding about trade among ourselves. At least I do, and I can think of like 20 other people that reciprocate the feeling.
