Should I Be Worried?

I was in Abysmal Summit with an AoE party of 4. We were in one of the two large side rooms. We has been AoEing for aout 1 hour when a smaller party of a cleric and fighter comes into our room and starts killing some of the other mobs in the room.

Since "Anything Goes" in pvp, my party attacked and killed the cleric and fighter, since we didn't like them taking mobs in our area. The fighter got really mad and said that he was going to report us for attacking him because he said that "If I'm attacking a mob and someone attacks me then I can report".

So should I be worried about being banned? My party never broke any rules in attacking them since it is pvp and "Anything Goes". We didin't say anything mean to them either. I'm worried that the GM will think that we were KSing or doing something bad since the fighter may twist the story and screenshots can never tell the whole story. What should I do?

No, you will not get banned from killing someone in a PvP area. Though it can be frustrating when this happens, that is the risk you have to take when you go into these areas.

lol I just don't like it when people come into our spot when there are tons of other open rooms. Fights are always fun too.

You don't loose exp so whats the problem :p

Well, if the mob gets the last hit on the player they will lose exp.

I dont think you need to worry, you walk into Abyss knowing someone can PvP you...

If you're not allow to PvP them for that reason then... what's the point of that map!

The only thing you should be worrying is if they start getting revenge on you by bringing in lots of friends/guild members to kill yah. But since that's not the case, you shouldn't be worrying.

What's the point of PvP? Kill other player! Everyone has a right to kill each other in abyss. It may be very frustrating however. Plus, they won't lose anything if they got killed from other players (they'll lose buff if any, lol).

But yeah... Just watch out for anyone that's chasing after you. ;)

Lol in the 50 abyss on my archer, I would constantly have the big room with an aoe party, oftentimes I could duo the entire room with a decent cleric.

When people came in, it was a 1-warning-then-kill basis. Soon as I saw them, Id finish my mob, warn them to leave, and pull another mob. If they were still there by the time my mob was done, theyd get killed.

Like some lv 59 fighter jerk who came to "my" room with my aoe pt. We warned, him, he refused, we told him to get out or die, he refused. Our mage took his sp, he cursed at us, then we killed him ^^

Oy and I killed a mage in the 60 abyss today xD I was goign to my pt (which were pulling into hallways to lessen lag and make it easier for our mage), and they stopped for maybe.. oh 30 seconds. However long it takes you to run from the entrance to I1 in the 60 abyss. By that time a mage and a cleric had moved into the room and were duoing. We warned them to leave, saying wed been there for hours. They said we hadnt, etc, etc. Push came to shove, the mage attacked me while I was walking up, then Nova'd our shrooms.
Whoooooooooo I dont care how strong mages are.. you dont go ticking off a bunch of 66+ 2 fighters 1 cleric 1 mage and 1 archer. They went down like a load of bricks, and eir the cursing ensued.

Its good taste to give people a chance to leave the room before attacking them....if the room is large enough, they might not have seen your party when they cam in. Just let then know that the room is occupied, and ask them to leave. If they don't, lay the smack down.

My only bad experience in an abyss was when i turned lvl 50. I was out in the open fighting mobs when a fighter/cleric party came up behind me and killed me. The fighter then whispered me to stay out of "his" abyss........... so of course with that, it was time for the payback. I lurked around the abyss until i found them and waited for him to pull the room he was in and waited for him to dev..... then i went in and stunned him, and the fight began..... he was killed by the mobs and I, and since he couldn't control aggro, the cleric who was trying to keep him alive pulled the mobs over to her, and i followed, and we killed her. i took the last hit on her, so she didn't lose exp....... unfortunately. Of course, the cursing and threats of reporting started......in the end nobody got jailed, and he learned that very valuable lesson......... do unto others.....and payback is a ......... well........ you know

Happens all the time and I LOVE it. Just a short of topic >.> I had a war today and the enemy gate killed me in FP. In less than 2 minutes I had 5-10 good allies in there pwnzorzing them.

Overall: Dont worry. Besides, even if they do report you, and for some odd reason you get banned, if you PM a GM or fiesta help or whatever about it, and fully explain it, then I would think they HAVE to listen. Because otherwise then the rumor goes around that they wrongfully jail people, etc, etc, and they dont want that. So therefore theyll do theyre hardest to make sure the reasons are good.
