View Full Version : Losing a KQ guide (Everyone read pls)

here i would like to teach u guys (who doesn't know yet) the guide of a losing KQ.






if the KQ seems to be hopeless; (especially with no tanker), then it is better to make it a "FAIL" rather than killing yourslef 3times and move back to roumen.

u can still go back to ELDERINE with this simple steps:
1. everyone must die and dont use heart; (just lie down on the ground untill everyone dies)
2. the FAIL sign will pop-out
3. use heart; (if u dont have anymore hearts, quickly ask cleric to rez u)
4. everyone will transported back to elderine safely

*yes u still can go back to elderine if the time finished but its just a waste of time waiting

i hope everyone read this and do a better job at failing a KQ rather than shouting "AWWW ITS A FAIL NOW EVERYONE WILL GO BACK TO ROUMEN" or "I WILL WAIT UNTIL THE TIME FINISH SO THAT I CAN GO BACK TO ELDERINE".

What about the leechers back at the starting point? Are you just gonna wait til time runs out just because of the afk leechers when you could have joined the next KQ slot or walked back to Elderine. Well just saying the possibility ~

Where's your sense of pride? If you don't think you can do it, why give up? Stick to it and work together. You may actually succeed and if not, at least you gave it your best.

What we need is a way to encourage!! people how to WIN KQ not how to LOOSE KQ...
I really start to miss old days<when i do Mara KQ as my main fighter> when people accually known how to win KQ even if sytuation look worst as bad:D.
Todays... i join once Mara as archer and we have considerable good amount of clerics, fighters, archers and mages to ensure victory, untill we reach main ship and then everything turn in total chaos...
Maybe i give another try one day but now i consider KQs as unnecesary waste of time .

Wouldnt say unnecessary. Gives you good exp either from quest attached to it or from the KQ itself, sometimes good items which might make you money and its fun regardless. KQs are pretty addictive imho. Sometimes you know you're going to lose but the thrill of going rambo on every mob and surviving more than makes up for the "fail". It's not all about the exp or drops, far from it.

i think i need to highlight "rather than killing yourslef 3times"... o.0

if everyone start suiciding and left very few ppl; we can simply walk out of that kq and join the next one

i joined kq not because of the exp/quest (since i already finished all the MD quest and currently its the only kq i got now); i play kq because its fun to work together. but if its only left with 9ppl (when everyone start suiciding) and the rest keep on shouting "its a fail, its a fail!!" -> is there any fun to continue?

Yes, there is still fun in continuing. I've gotten half way through the third tier on Honeying with it only being 3 fighters. Everyone else died out because they were convinced it would be a fail. The three of us kept our pride and dignity by still giving it our best and it gave us a sense of being proud of ourselves and each other. It's a good feeling knowing that you still tried your hardest whether it failed or succeeded. Also, all three of us got to finish our quest for it. In my eyes, it still pays off quite well.

but what if u r the only 1?? u still gonna tank robo(for example) on your own even if u know its hopeless?? :OOOO


anyway, everyone got their own sense of view. maybe for u even ur soloing MD kq, it is still fun continuing. but not for me; i like to do kq in 'working' pt >.<

I haven't soloed Mini Dragon...have Robo tho.

Ah i thought the rules for losing a KQ where:

1. All run in different directions.
2. Clerics can be tanks to so they should all just attack.
3. Tanks can only attack one monster at the same time so leave the rest to the mages and archers.
4. If everyone attacks a different monster you'll have no kill steal.
5. Wait till someone else attacks a monster, you dont want to get hit.
6. Your own q is more important than winning the KQ so make sure you get your q at all cost.
7. Argue as long as you want about whos tanking and stand still doing so to avoid getting hit.
8. Everyone should shout they want to get healed and raised, its the clerics fault if you die.
9. When the game starts shout 'pt', 'PARTY' or 'pt plz' till someone invites you. Someone else will eventually make a party anyway.
10. Hmm i cant think of one more, but 10 is a better number than 9. :)

Even a simple KQ like goldhill can fail also
too solo, no teamwork, refuse to party, no healing, NOOB, leecher, not doing ur job
SOlo: Alot of pple (esp cleric i observe) like to solo in KQ, thinking they themself can complete or one man control the whole KQ (NO, it is impossible, KQ is teamwork, esp high level KQ)

No teamwork: Refuse to work together. Etc, if u dun belong to my party, i dun heal u or res u, neither i help u tank the mob.

No party: 20 min into the KQ u can still see people asking "party please" .....

No healing: Cleric soloing, so nobody can heal. Maybe consider give mage healing skill also.

NOOB: Simply alot nowsaday, etc, some NOOB jus tank MD right in the middle, without walling it. yes, he won die, but when MD jump, the rest of us die.

Leecher: Jus stay there, wait for success and exp point

Not doing ur job:
Tanker dunno how to use snearing kick or mock anymore... so sad...
Cleric dunno how to heal anymore
Mage are now scare to blast their magic. scare to draw aggro and die, cos cleric no long heal/res
archer same also, dun dare to full blast. or they simply jus poison and when king chase them, they run all the way back to start pointt. making everyone fed up

This is wat i observe. Of course not all the time

Your guide is for running, not soloing and I mean that I actually soloed Millenium Robo in the KQ.

For me , i have all 4 type of character
Apoline server
Mage: lvl 58
Fighter: Lvl 54
Cleric Lvl 45
Archer Lvl 29

i play all character
but i tthink i did a good job in all character (in KQ at least)
Fighter, i know wat is MOCK and KICK
I always tank, and made sure the king stays on me only
(but sometime cleric sux, and no healing, i have to self stone all the way. I did self stone for the first 2 king in MD quest, a few time already)
Mage, i dun give a damn
i blast my magic full to the king. i draw aggro most of them time, when fighter dun mock well
i dun run ard, i jus stay there
wait for die, and res, lol
cos if i run, tanker will have hard time chasing the king (Esp md, i always run to the wall)
cleric, so far i can say i m the best cleric in robo quest, heal, cure, run. kill vivi quest, lol
archer... not playing at the moment, only use him to keep storage material. lol
but if i want to play, i think i can get to lvl 40 easily, now is 29 already. lol
nothing much to comment on archer, cos i m still low level
