And as for character being gone, welcome to Open Beta. If you were in the Closed beta, they were deleted if you didn't make level 20. Even if you did make level 20, you kept the character but it was reset to level 1 with profession, sex, and name still

Don't read the forums much do we?
Standard Procedure. They told everyone they would delete/reset ALL Closed Beta characters when you joined( If you happened to take the time to read it). It has been posted here on the website about 50 times aswell.
It is nothing new, 95% of all MMO's do this at the end of CB.
Full Screen: In game go to "options" at the far right bottom corner. Go into settings and click it into full screen.
