How about I start from where I started playing last year....

1: They did a halloween quest last year that allowed people to get a Perm item, no SC needed.

2: They listened to the complaints about the pvp Christmas event and people got Pets that were perm AND tradeable that were better than just the lil slime and kebing pets (+2 stats).

3: At Mother's Day and Father's Day they did increase drop rate weekends. Also no SC needed for these. And IF I remember correctly, they also did an EXP boost. But that may have been another Event.

4: They hosted the Raids event, and the SERVER that won got Drop rate increase or EXP boost too...so all the people not invovled in the raid still benefited. Only the raiders used SC for THAT event!

5: They gave quests for 4th of july that allowed for 7-day and 30-day Premium items that were liberty house or crit uncle sam hat or whatever. Also a mover I think too. NO SC needed.( now that I think about it, may have been labor day or veterans day or something... EITHER way...)

6: The Coat of Arms event. The winners did not need SC for this event. And the winners get to be the beta testers for the Server Vs Server pvp event which is still in the works.

I'm SURE there are more, that I wasnt privy to or decided not to get involved in. Or perhaps I couldnt make events like Boss killing events because I had school and other priorities. But YES let's give OS a hand, because they have worked to make sure that even if you aren't spending $$ on the game, you can still have fun.

yah... ive played this game for about 2 years now i can tell you i play it for about nil somtimes i buy sc but tahts cuz i want to level faster. above poster makes a lot of facts that are true except server vs. server pvp everyone will get to do it at the same time IF it comes out. Third and most of all why do you flame threads that are really about things that os has done. unlike most that have played for 2 years i have never quit and been hacked twice and os has been kind enough to fix what was taken and such i really love os theyve been good to me unlike the few other gaming companys ive played with

Those who won the Coat of Arms were rewarded with a pet, those players on that list are to be the Beta Testers for when they first impliment the SVS PVP event. Once it has been tested OS will introduce the SC item(S?) that will allow others to get involved as well. How do I know? Because I got a CoA. Directly after Maint. that night we got server-wide announcements about us being the beta testers for this new svs pvp. Plus...Silky commented on this topic on another thread around here somewhere...

So yeah, OS HAS done quite a few things to make players more happy.

Also...there have been times when there were server issues...crashes on the log in server and whatnot...and they turned back clock time on SC items and gave us EXP boosts weekend and drop rate increases. So, they have even given us stuff back when they mess up. Let's try to cut them some slack once in a while..hmm?

Omg you guys could be nice. Some people actually enjoy the good things OS does for us.

First of all, Ill say for the longest time peopel were asking for mdef additions when enhancing armor. Sure enough, they put it on rings, and what do they get for finally doing what weve been asking? "Mages are ruined now". Yeah right. We asked for mdef enhancing, we got it on the rings, yet everyones just whining.

The staff holds events for us, when they can, but when they do, what do they get in response? Spammed out, begged for items, being whispered/shouted to with "I have a question concerning a report i sent in" and stuff that really should be sent to a CSR!!!, as well as even cursed at. You know, if someone did all that to you in game, youd get mad really quick, but they just take it, are nice, and oftentimes either give out sparkcash items (guitars, TOT bags) or spawn chests.

The CLs on the thread, deal with so much drama brought here, and clean up the threads and stuff so nicely, but what does everyone do? Yell at them, scream when their threads get deleted for spamming, trolling, or TOS rule breaking. Keep in mind, yeah, GMs, CSR, PMs, etc, all get paid... CLs? Theyre doing it for free. I think people should respect them a lot more.

And I think OS is genuinely trying harder to please players. Ill admit, there were some really bad times, but look at now. OS staff all over the forums, answering questions, talking with the players, doing events and stuff. New places are released (60-69 dungeon) and things fixed (fbz maps, etc) but all anyone does is gripe about the small bugs that come with it (eld being yellow for example).

I mean itmust be pretty stressful to work where people come to you already angry, taking out their anger on you, and they all (GM, CSR, CL, etc) all reply back as nicely as they can and still try to help.

So dont trash on a thread supporting them. They get enough trash threads. Let the good ones thrive.

Among the things I am really kinda liking that they have brought out, in game at least;
--New items (skins, outfits, etc. I really enjoy outfits).
--Sales (they had quite a few sales recently, I love sales, it makes me feel like Im really getting a good deal with what little sparkcash I am able to get, and gives me a chance to get more items).
--Events (I like the in game events, especially the ones that dont really have alot of people yelling -- the OX games event, the Find the GM event).
--Fixing the bugs at the 8x+ places, whatever ones there were
--Giving out smaller sc items as gifts (see tournament, and lvling a character from 1, also havign promo email and facebook/blog events).

Among the things not really in game oriented I like;
--Outspark Staff (GM/ CSR/ CL) replying more on threads and such, even if its just a joke funny haha thread. Its nice to see them replying and talking, and gives us a chance to ask small questions we may have.
--Them being more available to talk to in threads and such
--I dont know if anyone else has noticed, but Ive noticed a really speedy response in tickets sent in. It used to be like almost 2 weeks response. Now its 1-2 days. I like this.

I dont think you should really be counting OnsOnSoft here, because really as I hear it goes, Outspark only asks for patches/updates/new items/ fixes from OnsOn, and OnsOn translates / makes them. Its really Outspark that has to handle the community in all its good and bad times.

And generally, I think people need to be more grateful. You dont NEED money to play Fiesta. Its free. You can log on it anytime you want, for however long, and you can do basically whatever (spend money or not, sit around and talk or not, lvl or not), as long as it just follows the TOS, which the TOS themselves, if youve read them, in all honesty, is just basically telling you to use common sense and be nice to your fellow player. It doesnt cost money to make an account, theres no monthly fee, sure you can buy sparkcash if you want, but you dont have to. In fact, I believe theres a guy who is level 95-105, who posted a pic somewhere proving he had never charged sparkcash. Even if you dont get sparkcash, theres plenty of promotional events, in game events, and such that can give you sparkcash or sparkcash items.

Yep, and Ill say, I really enjoy having the things I do from them. Ive got a perm cat head on all 4 of my mains, and some alts, which granted, took forever to get and some i got last year. I have a crown on one from the first month I joined fiesta. I mean heck, the week after i joined fiesta i got this permenant premium crown and a beauty coupon, how awesome is that? Ive got pumpkin masks, Ive got permenant manthongs, cat ears.. And those are just some premium items. You gotta look at all the other stuff. I mean Ive found glitches, and whispered a gm about them just to be curious, and I always get a nice, quick response back, whether they know about the bug (and thus usually tell me if theres a way to fix it on my comp, or if its known and being worked on) or if they dont (which usually gets a response of its either me with a fluke bug, usually, or its a whole game issue and they send in the report or foward the info).

And some people mentioned other things, you got the +2 pets, the xmas event, the independance event, the thanksgiving event, halloween, mothers/fathers day boosts, summer sales, birthday events, etc.

._. Actually.. thanksgiving.. mmmm off topic but thats in what 2 weeks? Woo cant wait to see what comes out this year (honestly, no turkey pl0x! thomas the turkey freaked me out!)

I seriously think that your new "siggy" pretty well sumarized "new trends" on this forum.

I really wish to could say something good about staff (except Nekopon's activity because so far she do really great job) but honestly... Alden's acting over Spookyiness threads MADE FOR PURE FUN, or very questionable activity of CSR departament was something what made me really think in what way this forum is moving...
