Late last week a very small number of Outspark community members reported a virus that may have originated from an ad displayed on our forums.

The virus first appears as a pop up box off an advertisement that asks if you want to scan your computer.

Clicking yes on this pop up box infects your computer.

As a general precaution please DO NOT click on any pop-up windows that ask to scan your computer (that is not part of your current Anti Virus software).

The Outspark team is investigating the source of the virus and will report back as we acquire more information.
