For those of you who have tuned in to the LIVE Show, you may or may not have noticed that there have been many cancellations. It is very disappointing for the crew to cancel the show but the reasons behind each cancellation was a result of miscommunication and poor judgment. As a crew, we understand that everyone who tunes into the show expects to be entertained and informed with the latest ongoing happenings surrounding the Fiesta community. As directors, Centrix and I both understand that those who are currently hosts for the show have tried their hardest and put in time to commit to the show. There have been those who tuned in to the show for the very first time. There are also those who were chosen to be a guest on the show and was not able to perform.

The directors have put a lot of thought into the show and have made a decision to cancel the show until further notice. The date for the next show is aimed for the start of February or perhaps sooner. It has become a concern that we are getting more cancellations of the show than actual recordings of the show. As a result, in about a week or so, we are going to start recruiting for hosts for the show. The reason we are doing this is because a major issue on the show is lack of hosts and miscommunication. What do we expect from our hosts?

Host Expectations:

- Be ready before the show
- Be online 2 hours before the show starts
- Have a positive attitude
- Have a outline/script ready by Wednesday/Thursday
- Be knowledgeable of the latest news and events happening in the Fiesta community
- Be ready answer any comments or questions from the viewers
- Be ready to improvise (but not go off-topic) and discuss topics pertaining to Fiesta for approximately 30-45 minutes.
- Stay online for the entire duration of the show (1 hour)

We are looking for long-term hosts that can commit themselves to the position, NOT hosts who can be there on a short-term basis. This is NOT a paid position. It is voluntary, however it is a position that allows you to show leadership in the community and also allows you to put on your resume that you have experience as an online podcast host (or related). Centrix and I don't get paid for what we do. We do it simply because of the experience we get as a result of the work we put into it.

We currently have 2 hosts for the crew and 1 potential co-host, however we are still looking for a couple more hosts to fill up spots for backup and primary host. The main objective being that we want a host crew we can rely and count on.

You may ask, what role does Centrix and I serve on the show?

Centrix and I are the directors, however we serve different roles. Centrix is in charge of the technical aspects of the show (running the server, doing sound checks, streaming the show) while I am in charge of making sure the hosts and guests know what they are going to do. I'm also in charge of the public relations aspect of the show: informing the community of what is going on in regards to the show and answering questions. When one of us isn't there, the show falls. This is why we have use the concept "When one of us isn't there, we all fall down".

What is the point of the show?

The whole point of the show is to inform the community of what is happening in the Fiesta community. Yes, you can find news and event information on the website. However, we try to reach out to the community vocally. Many users in the community have asked "how can we reach the GMs?" and "Outspark won't reply to our tickets" as well as "why won't Outspark fix these bugs in-game?". On the show, we try to answer those questions. Yes, Outspark does listen to the show. Being recognized by Outspark as a Fiesta fansite, OutsparkClub pushes the bar to make sure we fill in the gap in reaching out to the community and telling Outspark what needs to be heard. Not only do we post on the forums but we also personally vocalize how we feel. We try our hardest to ask the community what do they want from the show and what should we do to improve. It's extremely hard to make a show when the community doesn't give any feedback. We end up pushing ourselves more to finding out what users want. We read the forums everyday to find many issues spreading throughout the community that we want to put on the show.


Overall, we want to provide the community with something they can enjoy and appreciate. We ask everyone to understand what our goal is and to help us by giving us feedback. Like the GMs say "without a community, there is no show (or in their case, a game)".
