Community guidelines

The following Community Guidelines are the shared values of the Outspark community. Outspark is a place where people can have fun, play games, and meet cool friendly people. Our Community Guidelines help foster a positive environment in which to do so. These standards are a living document and will change based on the needs of the broad community and the available tools, so we encourage you to come back and review them frequently.

We take the Outspark Community Standards seriously and ask you to respect them. As Outspark members, you have certain responsibilities to yourselves and to each other.

The following guidelines are intended to protect Outspark members' privacy, legal rights and overall user experience. Note that these guidelines are not intended to replace the actual Terms of Service for Outspark.

Potential Community Standards violations should be reported to customer service by emailing support@outspark.com. If we determine that the reported content is illegal or violates our policies, we may immediately remove it.

Profile restrictions

While we encourage users to take full advantage of their profiles on Outspark to get creative and expressive, we have limitations on certain content and behavior. Read below about our policies about the restrictions users' profiles are subject to. Violation of any of these restrictions may result in infractions, suspension or termination of an account.

User identity

Profile content

A user should not upload, transmit or contain (in the profile, comments, images, or any other part of Outspark.com, etc.) material -- such as child pornography -- that violates real-world laws. These profiles will be immediately removed when we become aware of such content, and we will report instances of child pornography to the appropriate authorities.

Images displayed on Outspark should not contain nudity, sexually graphic material, or material that is otherwise deemed explicit by the Outspark team. A profile should not upload, transmit or contain material that is hateful or offensive based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, gender, or sexual orientation. A profile should not contain direct threats of violence against any living person, nor may it promote any dangerous and illegal activity.

A user should not post any profanity or inflammatory content on their profile.

Safety: Protecting your account

Due to Outspark's open nature, we realize that users' accounts can become compromised through phishing schemes, viruses, and spyware. Fortunately, users can help secure their own account and their online identity quickly and easily. As a starting point, we recommend these safe practices:

You can make your entire profile private by clicking on Account in the header and selecting the preferences tab. Select the option to make your profile private.

If you've shared your password with anyone, we highly recommend you change it as soon as possible. If you believe someone has taken over your account, please contact us.

Outspark will never ask you for your account password. Report anyone asking for your email address or password.

Inappropriate content won't be tolerated: Help keep Outspark safe and clean by reporting content that violates our Terms of Service and Community Guidelines by emailing us at support@outspark.com
